Anyohase-yo!!! That is the very first word I got to learn from the Korean dramas~ Whenever, I saw a dinning scene in the drama series, I would wish myself was in that scene so I could get to enjoy the delicious side dishes as well as enjoying their homemade kimchi!

Well, I decided to make some kimchi soup and pancake to satisfy my cravings!! Hahahaa... Boo... if you were reading this post, bring me to Korea for the real thing huh? ~

Let's get started!!!!

Ingredients

Kimchi Soup ( 2-3 servings)

2 cups of Kimchi
1 packet of chinese tofu
2 Tablespoons of Chili Paste
2 Stalks of spring onions (Chopped)
1 Packet of Minced Chicken
5 Cups of Water

Kimchi Pancake (5 little pancakes)

1 cup of All Purpose Flour
1/2 cup of Water
3 Tablespoons of Kimchi Juice (yielded from the package)
1 Egg
2 Stalks of Spring Onions (Chopped)
Handful of chopped Kimchi
1/2 tablespoon of salt.

Kimchi soup

Getting ready with the ingredients with the tofu diced  and the minced chicken meat into chicken meatballs.  Pour 5 cups of water into deep pot and add all the ingredients above except the tofu.  Add the 2 tablespoons of chili paste and 1 tablespoon of sugar into the pot and boil over high fire for 40 minutes.

The Kimchi smell filled the kitchen..I had to wipe my saliva in order not to contaminate my soup. Hahaha.. After 40 minutes, add the tofu and continue to cook for another 10 minutes under small fire.  And... You are ready to serve the soup!!!!

Kimchi Pancake

Add all the ingredients for into a huge bowl and make sure to mix the mixture well.

Pour a bit of oil into the heated pan and drop some of  the batter. Do try to make it into round shape and flip to the other side in a few mins.

Let's enjoy the meal!!!!! You may want to add the rice into Kimchi soup...which is the more preferred way I like to eat.

The Singapore 's weather was still under the "hazy" mode which made me feeling so dizzy and uncomfortable. I even had to wear the 3 ply surgical mask  from my home to the nearest MRT station which was only a 10 mins' bus drive including some walking.

The Mint green female Ninja!!!!!

Boo tried to bring me to a place which he had kept mum of ( that was very rare of him) since he just love to blah everything out in front of me! hahaha.. love him to bits! Anyway, both of us alighted at Raffles Place Station heading... towards FULLERTON!!! The place where we had our first date before getting together!

Hahahahaha.. and we were a bit lost on the way as this time he was going to bring me to Forlino at One Fullerton!!

We were welcomed by a long walkway with monogram styled floor and before finally settled into the restaurant.  It is a beautiful place decorated in Roman style with the main colors of white, gold and the view of the merlion and the boat quay river overseeing the MBS as well as the Singapore flyer!

The menu for lunch Ala Carte 1-for-1 buffet which was an offer made by the restaurant till June every weekend from 12pm to 2.30pm. You really must continue to stroll down and see all the foods they served.

Here comes the appetizer and the dish looked pretty yummy before putting them into my mouth. The soup was thick and the salmon with beetroot were a refreshed combo with the light cheese! The ham and cheese rolls tasted great but normal enough while my... the cheese and zucchini were something new to me which tasted like the Japanese egg rolls!!Hahahaha..

The Aglio Olio tasted pretty normal without much surprise~~which was a bit disappointment as I was expecting something a bit more from cafes like Bakerzin etc. =((

The Meat  main courses were next and frankly speaking, Boo and I were actually pretty full even before the fish and the pork cheeks came!  The fish fresh tasting -->the only word I could think of describing the steam fish but the pork cheeks were a turn on.... ( I feel like dancing as I put the first piece into my mouth). The meat was tender due to the fatty layer yet it doesn't taste too oily to swallow! I am personally not a pork person but I must recommend this dish!

And half way through our main course, Boo presented me the witch Hello Kitty which I was told he couldn't find it!!! Well, for your information, I have gotten all the hello-kitties for the fairy tale set!! All credits to my Booboo!

Last but not least, the favorite part of the four-course  buffet was the nutty tart together with the 2 scoops of ice creams ( mango and mint flavored)!!!Best dark chocolate nutty tarts and ice creams I have ever eaten!!

As we look out from the windows, miracle happened!! The haze was pretty much cleared and both of us saw the clouds in the sky! Nice!!! I made Boo to take a photo of me with the finally visible scenery. <3 It was overall a pleasant surprise which I will never forget~ Thank you, My loveliest Boo!

After visiting there once with my colleagues, I couldn't forget the hospitality that the boss and the servers had shown us. That was the reason why I hounded Boo to bring me there again , a week after the first visit . I must say the location of the restaurant is quite inconvenient for people without a car. Nevertheless, that reason doesn't stop me from going there!

Hahaha.. nice food filled of different varieties right? The above potions consisted of 2 sets of pork belly and Wagu beef ! Each of the sets have big potion of Kim Chi , Korean beansprouts, some tofu and mushrooms together with onion rings and eggs!! Yummy yummy!!!!

Other than the part that potions were big, the BBQ hot plate was tilted slightly such that the oil from the BBQ meats will flow to the Kim Chi and it was another new method for me to eat the cooked Kim chi ( cut into small pieces) with the BBQ meat only.

After finishing most of the meat, you may want to request a bowl of white rice and cook some fried rice together using the leftovers on the hotplate! Nice right? So much about DIY experience! Boo was so excited about it too!

I couldn't help but to pose as though I am a potential housewife! hahahaha... I did not cook the fried rice!

The end product finally done! Credits to  Boo for cooking the rice and me arranging of the rice and doing up the decoration (yes, the little piece of cabbage).

We had so much fun in the restaurant and we received a very warm welcome by the owner and server. Although there maybe some hipups here and there, due to the fact there were only 2 servers attending the customers and one cook in the kitchen. =)

By the way, I heard from the owner that they are going to change the name of the restaurant, so don't be surprised if you entered the place with a different signboard! Do patronized  them because of their good food!
