Today is the day that I will embark the new phase of my life,  I have officially hit  xx years old!  Looking back , it was until recent years that I realized time never wait for others so the

Moral of the story: Grab whatever opportunities that come along the way, if you never try, you will never know the outcome; the result maybe not what you have expected; but at least you will not live in regret.

I have always been very grateful that the years of my life have been quite fruitful and filled with important memories and valuable experiences which have molded me to the person I am now. Though I may not be as successful in career as some of my friends are, but at least I have my family, Booboo and my friends who supported me through my first breakup, my once hectic part time studies, my different career choices.. etc etc. I truly feel blessed...

Haha, enough of my emotional side..would like to show you how my family and friends celebrate my special day!

As of previous post, my family had given me an Ang Bao for good luck, so according to our family tradition, I treated them to A1 Restaurant at Jurong Point. The (艇仔粥) porridge is the thick kind and tasted very smooth. The portion is really huge with lots of ingredients for $7.00!! However, try not to order other side dishes, guess their forte is still porridge!

Oo... Guess what! My closer colleagues bought me a cake and my poor boss have to pull the same stunt ( A work related meeting) to trick me into the pantry. Ahahaha.. on top of that, I got a present which supposes to aid my weight loss program! A jar of Cellulite scrub and body toner lotion from Body Shop!!!! Will try to do a review on the products as soon as possible!

And my mummy bought a small little cupcake for my birthday celebration. Well, my family are not cake lovers, so I shall have it all by myself! * munch*

That's all for today, folks! Shall enjoy my cakie~~Wish myself a happy Birthday!

The both of us woke up at 9am in the morning, preparing ourselves before going out for some shopping, food , movie and more food!~  What a beautiful Sunday it was!!! The first thing came out of Boo Boo's and mine was......

heading to the lounge---> Our favorite place again for some coffee to last us through the day. Ahahaha..... I must say the service staffs in the lounge are really polite and although both me and my fiance did not purchase the breakfast option from the hotel, they insisted that we should at least "pinch" on the bites ,meant for the morning breakfast crowd. I was really touched by their service attitude, which is the most pushing factor to why I insisted on staying at Thistle!! Anyway, due to Boo Boo's craving for dim sum, we decided on Kai Xuan Restaurant at Puteri Pacific Hotel for our brunch.

Kai Xuan Restaurant (Halal)
I must say the dim sum tasted awful with the prawn dumpling's skin too thick and the yellow skin of the shark fins chicken dumplings cannot even hold the fillings together, not to mention the dim sum looked as if they were prepared the day before, and served cold on our table. For goodness's sake, the sequence of serving the 6 tables in the restaurant is also very wrong. All the dishes were served to one table then another which made us wait till very long for our food--> like half an hour before all dim sum we ordered came at one shot. I'm glad that we got the ala carte dim sum instead of spending RM 36++ per person for the dim sum buffet.

Beautiful Creatures
After filling up our hungry stomachs, we went to City Square to catch a movie called "Beautiful Creatures". Although the movie critics have said that this movie is prepared to take over Twilight Saga, well, in my opinion  I seriously think that it is non comparable in terms of attractive factor ( Both the male and female leads are not at least half pretty/handsome Jacob, Edward Cullen and Bella Swan), the emotional factor where the director, Richard LaGravenese should focus more on the struggling love between Ethan Lawson Wate and Lena Duchannes.

Elmingo Restaurant and 许留山
Both of us ordered the Salmon aligo olio and Baked cheese sambal chicken macaroni respectively from Elmingo. What I can comment is the aligo olio seemed too oily and the baked cheese tasted normal. Well, it is not a bad restaurant considering its Mexican's feel decorations but BooBoo thinks the waiter shouldn't have kept super long finger nails which looked very unhygienic.

Finally, I got to eat the desserts from 许留山. Have heard that the name is widely famous in Hong Kong and it did came to Singapore but I think it closed down few years ago. I was pretty excited to eat the famous "mango series", and as greedy as me, I chose 芒之恋 ( Mango Love) to taste the 3 different mango dessert in mini version. oo... it did not fail my expectations for craving it... One Word: Yummy Yummy! As for Boo, he chosen the 椰子果冻鲜雪芭( Coconut Jelly with Twin Sorbet), which is also another good choice especially the coconut jelly was mixed with the coconut flesh which tasted so refreshing and best is no need to use any wrist strength to dig the coconut meat!

The overall experience was great and seriously, there are still so many food, shopping and even massage places Boo boo and I have not yet explore in Johor Bahru. So looking forward to the next getaway with him and introducing the places to you! ... <3

Hello everyone! I will be diving into the Big 3 club starting from tomorrow... Therefore, I decide to do a nail art design on Daisies The flower, Daisy, represents purity, loyal love and are symbol of innocence. It also symbolizes new beginnings--> Me!.

For a start, please ensure you have the following materials listed as shown on the topmost right corner of the picture (From the right:):
Based coat
Top coat, Sally Hansen
An Affair in Red Square, NL 09; OPI
Honey Mustard color,2
Apple green color,37,Nature Republic
Nail art brush (thin)

According to above collage in clockwise direction:

Step 1: Some of the white and the honey mustard color on a clean paper/palette.
Step 2: Color two coats of apple green as the background on the nails.
Step 3: Using the tiny paint brush, create a small dot with the honey mustard color as the center of the flower, and draw sun rays strokes around the dot as petals of the flower.
Step 4: Fill the in between gaps of the "sun rays" with white color to create a fuller petaled daisy. Using another green shade of nail polish to dot the surroundings of the painted daisies with the brush.
Step 5: With the Top coat, seal the nail art and add a beautiful shine..

I just had a short getaway at Johor Bahru with my Boo Boo Bear. Frankly speaking, although Boo Boo and I have been going to countless of JB trips and staying in the same hotel like 5 times, the experiences have always been different, even though the subjects never changed at all. =p

Upon checking into Thistle, we immediately drop our baggage, taking some magazines with us, along with some takeaways we had bought and went to the executive lounge straight away.
**Do note that we had previous experiences of bringing takeaways into the lounge**

And guess what, the service staff----> (temp staff) at the executive lounge was unwilling to let us bring outside food into the place, but the two of us, well known as "pushing luck duos" half threatened and the half pushy attitude made him reluctantly let us do so, except that we have to eat at the outdoors area of the lounge. Hey, for your information, it was a scouring sunny day!

We finished the food as soon as we could to get into the air conditioned area fast. Wah, it sure cool us down almost instantly.. About 7 pm,  the lounge began to serve some bites and the "main dish" was Mee Rebus. oo.. and did I mention the free flow of alcoholic drinks? @.@

Boo Boo and I each ordered a glass of white wine, enjoying some savory bites for him and some cakes for a sweet tooth like me, officially starting our slacking moments!

On the way to the gents, Boo found the book based on the reality show in America " The undercover boss" on lounge's shelf. Unfortunately, I'm unable to finish the book, will download/buy it later this week. So folks, stay tuned, will try to write my thoughts about the book once finished.

Both of us stayed till 9ish and retreated to our room..and fell asleep while watching our childhood movie, ROCKY by Sylvester Stallone.

To Be Continued~~ <3 <3

Good morning Friday!!! I'm on leave today but well I can't control my biological clock so that's why I got up at 6.30am despite the fact I can sleep till the sun rays shone onto my butt.

It feels really good that the moment I lit up head up to look into the sky and see how the cloud is gradually drifting  and the sky is getting brighter, making me realized that it has been a while since i look up to the sky.

For your information, today is my lunar Chinese birthday dated (正月初十三) according to the lunar calender.. I am so looking forward to the noodle my mum is preparing for me now. Accordingly to the Chinese's tradition, it is a must to eat the noodles cooked with pig's liver and an hard boiled egg on your special day because the noodles symbolized longevity. So, you have to eat the noddles yearly to "prolong" your life span. =)

The noodle that my mum prepares is the improvised version where she will add in abalone and 2 eggs, cooked in chicken stock instead. And, yes, no no pig's internal organ for me. OO... I forgot to mention my family will give a "Hong Bao" to me for good luck and prosperity for the year ahead!~

Going to enjoy my longevity noodles now... bye~
It is already 12' midnight and I am still feeling quite awake, 110% energetic! hmm.. but the problem is .. I have work today .. and I have to be awake by 5.50am!! This shouldn't be the case since I had finished my 2hrs' of workout (Cardiomix and step Aerobics)  earlier in the evening!

I MUST GO TO SLEEP!!!

I shall make use of the most powerful search engine( At least that's what I think ) GOOGLE to help me find some methods which are supposed to put me to sleep.

hmmm. I never knew that "methods to determine the airspeed" to be so commonly searched online!!!! *Shocked*

Well, after browsing through, most of the advice provided by most website owners to falling asleep fast are the following:
1) Do some exercise --> which will reduce your stress and relaxing your muscles.( Did not work for me)
2) Take a warm bath --< Done after my workout.. or am I supposed to retake my shower?
3) Have a glass of milk--> Tried and tested before, but I think it caused me to have puffy eyes the next day..
4) Off the TV and dim the lights of the room--> Done, and my room is pitch dark.. for 2 hours already?
5) Aromatherapy--> No such thing in the house at this very moment. =p

But~~~ I did find this "8 weird tips for a good night's sleep" interesting..

Since the "conventional methods" cannot work for me, why not try these methods?

So while I need to position myself and getting ready...

WISH ALL HAVE A GOOD NIGHT's SLEEP  AND SWEET DREAMS...<3<3
